A New Years Party-Part One

Hey everybody! Sailor Amidala here. This is my first Fan-Fic so I don't know 
really  know how to start. I have read many stories out of A Sailor Moon 
Romance and Sailor Moon: First Love. Whenever I finish reading a story I feel 
like writing one and I have a lot of fresh ideas in my head but I don't have 
the time or the talent to do so. But its Thanks Giving weekend and I am going 
to see what I can come up with.

This is set around December 26-Jan 1 1999-2000. Out of the many stories I 
have read none of them deal with the New Year. So this is original as it 
gets! The girls, meaning Raye, Amy, Lita, Mina and Serena are all in their 
10th grade in high school making them 15-16 years old. Serena knows Darien 
and Andrew and as always Serena and Darien get in fights every time they see 
each other. Now on to the story!

A NEW YEARS PLAN-Part one  

Because Serena was still on winter break she had know reason to get up early 
so she enjoyed sleeping in till 10:30. After taking a nice long shower and 
putting on a cute new outfit she got for Christmas she partially dried her 
hair and put them up in her usual meatballs and looked in the mirror. In the 
reflection she saw a blond hair girl who was skinny with long legs. On her 
feat she had some white sneakers, followed by a new pair of faded blue jeans 
that accented her long legs, a light pink long sleeved cotton shirt and a 
pair of small pearl earrings she got from her parents. She loved them because 
they would go with anything and they were her tradition birth stone. ~ I hope 
that Andrew is working today! I have not gotten to see him since the last day 
of school before break and I still have is Christmas gift for him. ~ After 
calling Lita, Amy, Raye and Mina and telling them to meet her at the arcade 
at 11:00 she ran down her stairs, yelling a quick good bye to her Mom and 
grabbing her coat, and she was out the door. She was the first one to get to 
the arcade, which was unusual. She spotted Andrew and sat down on a stole in 
front of the bar where Andrew was sanding. 
"Hey Serena! How have you been" asked Andrew sounding quite cheerful.
"Good! I was hopping you would be here today! I have something to give you. I 
know it is late but I have not seen you in a while." She said grinning
"Oh that's ok Serena, I have something for you to."
Serena handed Andrew a bag he had not seen before and Andrew reached under 
the counter and gave her a medium sized box. 
"You first" yelled Serena with a glint of anticipation in her eyes.
Andrew carefully pulled out the crate paper and peaked inside. He pulled out 
what looked to be a white apron. When he opened it up he stared at it and 
stared laughing hysterically and Serena joined him. Just then, four other 
girls strolled in. The first one was tall and had brown hair up in a 
ponytail. She was wearing jeans and a dark green T-shirt. After her walk in a 
pretty blonde girl wearing black pants and a pale yellow long sleeved shirt. 
She had a red bow in her hair that has half up, half down. After her a blue 
haired girl and a raven-haired girl walked in wearing jeans and a T-shirt. On 
was blue and one was purple. They all walked over to wear Serena and Andrew 
were laughing their heads off.
"What's so funny guys?" asked Lita
Still slitly giggling Andrew turned the apron around so the girls could see 
it. In big red words the apron said "Kiss the Cook" The girls started 
giggling and Mina managed to gasp out 
"Andrew why don't you put it on! It would look so cute on you!"
After the giggling died down he replied
"I don't think so Mina someone might take it seriously and Rita would not be 
to happy with me. Thanks Serena, I really like it. Aren't you going to open 
yours."
With all the laughter Serena had forgotten the box on the counter in front of 
her.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot"
She ripped off the beautiful rapping paper with no remorse and opened the 
box. A sudden gasp was heard as Serena drew a pink bunny rabbit out of the 
box. It was holding a box of chocolates.
"Oh thank you Andrew! I love it!" she squeaked out as she was admiring how 
cute it was.
"I minute I saw it I thought of you Serena" said Andrew. Andrew walked over 
to a hook and placed his new apron there, then walked back to were all the 
girls were standing.
"So girls what brings you hear today?" he asked
Before they could get a word in Serena answered for them.
"Well, I called them all up and asked them to meet me her so I could discus 
our New Years plans. I was hopping we could all get together and do 
something. My Mom and Dad are going to be gone for the nigh at a friends 
party and Sammy is spending the night at a friend house. My Mom gave me 
permission to have some people over for a party. You are all invited!" she 
finished. Andrew was the first to answer.
"I was actually planing on doing something with Rita and Darien" but before 
he could finish Serena butted in.
"I thought you might be so they can come too if they would like. The more the 
merrier!"
"That sounds great Serena, I am sure they would love to come!" replied Andrew 
with a grin on his face.
"Well, I was planing on doing something with Ken but I am sure he would love 
to come and I can even whip up some goodies to eat" said Lita
"I was hopping you would say that! New Years would not be the same without 
out you and your great munchies!" Serena stated matter-of-factly.
"What about you guys, she said glancing at Raye, Amy and Mina, are you in?"
"Well, Greg and I had plans since he just got back from the US, but we would 
love to come." said Amy
"Same here, I had plans with Chad, but I don’t think he would mind coming," 
replied Raye.
"I am in girl! I never pass up a party,” said Mina with a smile on her face.
"Then its settled. You can all arrive at my house around 8:00 and forget to 
tell Darien ant Rita Andrew." said Serena
" I wont." replied Andrew.
The girls all sat down at a both and order some chocolate shakes.
"So, what should we do for the rest of the day?" asked Lita
"Well I got a lot of money this year for Christmas and it is just burning up 
in my pocket. I though that we could all go shopping. I was thinking I could 
buy a new outfit for Serena’s party!" said Mina
"That sounds good to me!" they all replied. They plaid that bill then left 
for the mall gossiping on the way there. They entered Mariposa all owwwing 
and ahhing at the beautiful dresses. They all picked out some and walked over 
to the dressing rooms. Each entered they own and began the process of try one 
on then coming out to model it for the other girls. Serena walked out of her 
room with a simple pink dress on. I was laid just above her knees showing of 
her long skinny legs. It had thin straps and a fairly low-neck line. All the 
girls liked it, but she still had three more dresses to try on. Mina was 
next. She had on a pale yellow dress. It barley touched the floor and was 
elegant and flitted her body nicely. The back was kind weird and the girls 
did not like it much. Lita then steeped out in an extremely short lime green 
dress and everyone laught at including her.
"I look like a walking lime in this thing! If I bent over I would be mooning 
half of Tokyo!" said Lita
With that everyone broke out in laughter and Lita blushed.
Amy had on a dark blue velvet dress that was just above her knees. It had 
embroidered white snowflakes on it that were beautiful. I had fairly wide 
straps and a low enough neckline so that she could wear a choker. She looked 
wonderful in it.
"That suttees you perfectly Ames! It is like it was made for you!" stated 
Serena. Everyone nodded in agreement and they all deiced that she should get 
it. Next it was Rayes turn. She had on a long purple dress that was way to 
tight. She was embarrassed to even come out and show it to them. All the 
girls, except Amy, went and changed their dresses. The first one out was 
Lita. She had on a pale green dress. I was one of those dresses that if you 
were 5 inches shorted it would have looked good on you. They all deiced that 
she should try on another. Next came Raye in a stunning marouneish red dress. 
It had sparkly maroon sequence zigzagged across the top part that faded away 
as the dress flowed to the floor. It was sleeve less and it looked absolutely 
gorgeous on her.
"Chad is going to faint when he sees that on you!" exclaimed Mina
"Do you really think it looks that good guys?"
"YES!" they all yelled in unison.
"Aright, alright, I will get this one." replied a grinning Raye.
Next up was Mina. She was warring a long dress that accented her body 
perfectly. It was dark orange at the top then faded to light orange then to a 
yellowish orange then to a yellow at the very bottom. I look wonderful on 
her. I had long selves and came with a handbag that had the same colors on it.
"Many did I get lucky! This dress looks great on me and it has my two 
favorite colors! What do you guys think of it?" she asked.
"I think you look great in it Mina" said Serena, "You should defiantly get 
it!"
"Yes, you should defiantly get it Mina, I don't think you will find another 
one like it" stated Amy.
"Its settled then, I will get it,” said smiling while looking at her self on 
the mirror. Lita and Serena returned to the dressing rooms and put on other 
dresses. Lita stepped out in an extra long forest green dress. It was made 
out of iridescent fabric that that looked stunning when the light caught it 
just right. It had think straps and a squarish neckline. It brought out her 
green eyes and almost made them shine. Everyone agreed that she should get 
that dress.
"I have never tried on a dress that was to long. I could get used to this!" 
Lita exclaimed. Then everyone’s attention turned to Serena. She had on a 
white dress. I looked like it would be see through because the dress was made 
out of layer upon layer of delicate white lace. It reached to her ankles ad 
looked beautiful on her. Under the layers of lace were patches of flowers in 
pale pinks, yellows, greens and blues. I color were so faint that it look 
like the fabric was reflecting a rainbow.
"Wow " was all the girls could mutter.
"Does it really look that good?" Serena asked.
"Ya" said Mina "To bad there aren't going to be any guys they're to impress 
or they would be all over you!"
" Well, Darien is going to be there" Lita said in a teasing manor.
"Oh shut up Lita, you guys know I can't stand that man. It took all my 
self-control to let Andrew invite him. I am just hoping he does not ruin 
everything!" said Serena.
"Oh come on Serena, he is not that bad, and he is cute you have to admit" 
said Mina.
"Ya, he is cute, I will give him that much, but that does not solve the fact 
that he is a major jerk! "Serena wined
"You did not even give him a chance Serena! He is not that bad once you get 
to know him" stated Raye defensively.
"Well, once he apologizes for calling me names all the time and stops making 
fun of me maybe I will give him a second chance" Serena replied. The girls 
all rolled their eyes and knew that deep down inside Serena had a secret 
crush on him. He was the only one that she had ever argued with which was the 
main sign, but they had all seen her watch him walk away after and fight with 
a look of longing in her eyes. All the girls grabbed their dress and paid for 
them, happy with they purchases. Then they hit the Jewelry stores to find 
accessories. Amy found a dark blue choker with a white snowflake dangling 
from it. Mina bought a fake diamond studded hair clip to go with her dress 
and Raye bought to fake ruby clips to go in her hair that match her dress 
perfectly. Lita got a necklace that had a silver chain and a fake emerald 
stone mounted on it. Serena deiced to wear her new pearl earrings and she 
bought and opal necklaces that had all the pale colors of her dress in it. 
They all left the mall happy with their purchases, and returned to there own 
homes.

Earlier that day at the arcade a talk man with jet-black hair and a handsome 
face walk in. He was thinking about a certain someone that he hope to run 
into today. Darien sat down on a stole and started a conversation with Andrew.
"So Andrew, have you figured out what we are doing on New Year's Eve yet?" 
asked Darein.
"Well, we were just invited to a party at Serena’s house with bunch of her 
other friends. Is that all right with you?" asked Andrew curiously
"A party at Meatball heads house? Well, I guess so, just as long as she does 
not spill punch on me or make us play any stupid games, when did she ask you? 
~ I wonder if she specifically invited me or if she just invited me because 
she thought I had know other place to go. ~ with that thought Darien felt 
saddened.
"She came in this morning with her friend and invited us. Then they left to 
go buy new outfits to wear." replied Andrew.
" Oh, well what time does it start?"
"8:00, and since you don’t know where she lives, I will pick up you a 7:45 
and we can go from there, kay?" said Andrew
"Sounds good to me, well I have to be going, call you later,” said Darien as 
he slipped of the chair he was occupying and walked out the sliding doors. As 
he walked down the street and wondered what he was going to wear. ~ Hold on 
Darien, this is meatball head we are talking about here. You don’t need to 
impress her. But deep down inside he concessions was telling him he better 
look damn good it he wanted to make her look twice. ~
